St.Ives Apricot scrub has been a holy grail of mine for a while now. I first, discovered this product when it was on sale at the drug store. This product has saved me the trouble and money from spending all my money on products that claim to help acne. I would rate this product a staple 10/10. This scrub leaves my combination skin feeling very nourished and soft. This has removed a ton of my forehead acne and gently exfoliates my skin. Since this does exfoliate your skin, it is recommended to be used every few days. I use this 3 times a week and in-between using it, I just wash my face with cold water. This scrub has a grainy creamy texture, almost like sand. I noticed a difference in my complexion after a few uses and it has kept my face in tip top shape. I use this scrub in the morning by wetting my face and applying a tiny bit of the scrub onto my face. I then GENTLY massage the product into my face so that it isn't too harsh (make sure that you don't scrub too hard on your pimples). I wash my face with cold water and pat it dry with a towel. Patting your face with your towel is ten times better than rubbing the life force out of it! I would purchase a small face towel to use separate from my bath towel. As a person who suffers from shoulder acne, I found that this works best on it. The smell is also pretty good. I was honestly scared to try this product because of all the negative reviews but I'm glad I tried it out for myself. The reason I don't find it too drying as other people have experienced is because I use a moisturizer afterwards! Using a moisturizer is essential after exfoliating. I personally use coconut oil as a moisturizer or the Neutrogena one. It also removes my face makeup easily. Don't use it to remove your eye makeup because it will irritate your eyes. Also, take out your contact lenses before using this. Overall I'd have to say it is one of my favourite products. The price, the benefits and end result will want you craving it more and more!
We all want long, healthy, strong nails right? But we also want our nails to look in tip top shape! Here are the steps in to getting the perfect manicure~
Step 1: Remove all nail polish
This is an important step because you want to make sure that your nails are bare before you start your mani. Use a good cotton pad that doesn't leave any fuzzy bits on your nails.
Step 2: File your nails
You want to file your nails according to the shape that you want. Some shapes would be; oval, square, claw. Which ever shape you choose you must not file down the sides of your nail. This will cause your nails to be weaker and more brittle.
Step 3: Push back those cuticles
Pushing back your cuticles will make your nails look more tidy. You should never cut your cuticles because they protect your nails. Pushing them back a bit won't do any harm. You want to first soak your hand in warm water for 5 minutes so that your cuticles soften up. Once that happens you can use your orange stick or popsicle stick to push back your cuticles.
Step 4: Moisturize
You can make an olive oil + sugar scrub to remove all the dead skin off your hands. This will make your hands glow!
Just remember to apply some hand lotion afterwards!

Step 5: Apply nail polish
To complete this mani you want to apply a base coat onto your nails. This will prevent staining. Then apply a nail polish of your choice, once dry apply a second coat. Then apply a top coat to make the colour last longer. And voila! You're at home manicure is complete!
You can easily do the same thing for your toes~ Have fun while you're glamourizing your nails!
