5 Reasons to do Yoga

Yoga is probably the most relaxing activity ever! I have just recently got into doing yoga and I feel amazing! Whenever I wake up I do a few poses, which takes up to 20 minutes~ I do this because then my body is awake and active. I'm one of those people who can't eat breakfast right after I wake up, I need to wait until my body fully wakes up. Doing yoga helps me achieve that. That's only a few examples of how yoga helped me. Yoga is an excellent stress reliever
By doing yoga, you are accessing your inner strength. When you're stressed you are often thinking way more than you should be. While doing yoga your body and mind will be still and focused on the exercise. There are many exercises, some complicated and some simple. The trick is to always make sure your breathing is in tune with your movements. Inhaling and exhaling are key parts to performing yoga properly. Think of it as baking a cake without flour. You can try your best to bake it but will the results be good? No. The same goes for yoga, if you aren't performing the poses correctly it won't do any benefit and might even cause injury. Always stay safe and work your way up to the intermediate poses slowly!
Yoga evens out your skin tone
Not only does yoga benefit your body but did you know that it gives you an amazing complexion? By performing inverted poses this will increase the blood flow to your brain which boosts your circulation. The circulation will give your face a youthful and more even complexion. The amount of nutrients that will enter your skin is uncountable! Experts say that you will see a difference in your skin in just one week! Is that exciting or what?
Yoga gives you a toned body
Sure, yoga isn't anything like exercising at the gym but did you know it can tone your body just as good? By doing yoga you are using many of your muscles which strengthens them whilst relaxing. A toned yoga body is quite attractive, plus you don't have to work out as much as you do at a gym. Tone yourself up to get that bikini body back before summer!
Yoga gives you flexibility
When doing yoga your body will become much more flexible. Your body will bend in ways that you didn't even think were possible! With proper practice you will be able accomplish anything!
You will have an overwhelming control of mind
When practicing yoga you are working many important parts of your body. You will be able to control your thoughts and how your react to things. With yoga you will be able to think more clearly. It also gives you a lot of time to yourself. Every one loves to be accompanied with friends a lot of the time, but did you know how peaceful it can be to have only your mind with you? You'll be able to connect with your spiritual part of your body. This is an excellent thing for every girl to try~
By practicing yoga regularly you will see everything in a different light. Try it out! It's fun and also benefits you in a lot of healthy ways. All you need is a yoga mat, some light music and your body! Keep a bottle of water with you because you might get thirsty~ Also, if you in any way feel dizzy then move out of your position slowly, especially if doing an inverted pose.
