I just recently got the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette and I can't stop gushing over it! I've been wanting a neutral palette that I could wear on an everyday basis and I felt like this was the perfect one. This is palette is the second of the Chocolate Bar series from Too Faced. The reason that I was drawn to this palette instead of the original one is because of the Blueberry Swirl shade. It's the perfect blue and surprisingly fits right into the colour scheme of the palette. I like to wear a matte orange-brown shadow on the eye and then a pop of this blue on the waterline makes it look more edgy and dramatic. You can create many makeup looks with this palette. You could wear work and school appropriate looks with the earthy tones. You could also use the dark brown or black to create a smokey eye look. The pigmentation is great and the formula is creamy which makes the shadow easy to blend. The only thing I don't like about the palette is the shade "Pink Sugar". The colour looks amazing in the palette but when you apply it, it comes of as a sheer layer of pink glitter. The glitter is not pigmented enough which makes it hard to apply. The rest of the colours however are very pigmented and easy to work with. The final thing I want to say about this product is that it smells AMAZING! The palette is formulated with cocoa powder which makes it smell like chocolate~ mhmmmm delicious. It doesn't have an artificial chocolate smell but rather a rich and potent chocolate smell. I can go on and on about this palette but I believe I've covered everything I wanted to say. Overall, I would like to say that I am very happy with the outcome of this palette and I'm definitely going to have to get my hands on the original Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette!
We've probably all stumbled upon the concept of contouring while binge watching makeup tutorials on Youtube. It isn't really as difficult as it may seem, you just need precision, a brush and a good contour product! I've listed down below a few cult favourites!
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette ($52 CAD)
There are two versions of this palette: a powder version and a cream one. Which one you like will be based on personal preference, but overall both products come out with a beautiful outcome. You may wonder why you need a palette rather than only one individual shade, and the answer is that with a palette, you are getting shades you can highlight with, bake with and even set your whole face with! It is pretty versatile and a great product to choose if you can never find the perfect shade to match your complexion!
2. Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette ($55 CAD)
This palette is a similar concept to the ones above. It features 3 shades for contouring and 3 shades for highlighting. This palette works for a wide range of skin tones, blends and sheers out well, and is very well pigmented. It is a great product to consider when starting out with contouring and highlighting.
3. Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour Stick ($26 CAD)
This is an easy to use and fast way to chisel your cheeks! Its great for those mornings when you want to contour but you don't want to contour. It's a creamy formula that should be blended out with a damp beauty blender or a makeup sponge. It may be a bit hard to blend out with a brush because of the texture of it, but see what works for you.
4. Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection Palette ($52 CAD)
This palette was formulated for all chocolate and makeup lovers! This palette smells like a bar of chocolate! Do you know how hard it is to not buy any Too Faced product while at Sephora? The struggle is real. Anyways, if you’re not really phased by the smell of cocoa, the product it self will get you running to your nearest makeup store. This palette will give you instant cheekbones and will carve out your face like a pumpkin on Halloween night (that’s a good thing by the way)!
4. Nars Sculpting Multiple Duo ($52 CAD)
This dual ended stick will give you a slimmer face with the dark side, and the lighter side will give you an illuminating glow! The good thing about this product is that you can also use it as an eye shadow and blush too! It is a creamy formula that goes on smoothly and blends easily.
5. Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Brush ($43 CAD)
A great dual ended brush to use with your contour powder. One end of the brush is to contour with while the opposite is a tapered highlighting blush.
6. Sephora Pro Angled Contour Brush #75 ($37 CAD)
Another brush that is great for contouring is this one by the Sephora brand. It is very dense which means that it will give you more of a stronger and cleaner contour line.

My current favourite beauty products! This has been a long awaited post so I finally got around to doing it~ I hope you enjoy! All products will have links to purchase it if interested.
A kit which includes an eyeliner and mascara. I love this eyeliner because it's WATERPROOF. I get teary eyes often and this baby doesn't budge at all! The formula is really creamy so it glides on perfectly. I use the eyeliner on my waterline and on my lid too. The mascara really makes my lashes look thicker and more luscious. I think I'll have to purchase the full-sized ones now~

This lip exfoliator should be your sought out to product if you have dry lips. I have dry lips because the climate here is extremely cold and I use this almost every week. This exfolaitor removes all the dead, chapped skin you have on your lips. It's not abrasive but it still gets the job done. Plus it's only $3!

I've been opting out for a more natural look recently and this CC cream has been my holy grail product~ It's by the brand 'Gosh' and it's an illuminating CC cream which also comes with SPF 15. As a girl who hates applying sunscreen on a regular basis, this CC cream is a must for me. It claims to be a foundation, primer and moisturizer all at once. I don't really notice the primer but it moisturizes and covers my skin well. This CC cream also gives me a natural looking glow to my face~ If you girls want a proper review on this then comment below!

Lip balm is an important ritual that I need to perform everyday. I love eos lip balms because they are so moisturizing and comes in a variety of flavors. Flavors? I don't really know if that's the right word to use when describing something that's not edible but you girls know what I mean! I also love the unique shape of it. I hate lip balms that come in the twist up form because they just get really messy. This is an efficient moisturizer and smells amazing too! I have the sweet mint one and the summer fruit one~ I am on a journey to add more to my collection :3

Finally! A lipstick! This is my favourite drug store lipstick because it's a lipstick which moisturizes the lips rather than drying it out. The formula is like nothing I've tried before and I love it~ I use this on days where I want to do errands and don't want to put on a whole face of makeup. This lipstick gives me the color that I desire while hydrating my lips~ I have mine in the shade 'Sugar Plum'.
Purchase here: Revlon Lip Butter - $8
Probably my all time favourite nail polish is Essie's 'Fiji' colour, which reminds me of the pink sand that would probably be found on the beaches of Fiji! It's in the perfect shade of pink~ I don't care whether it's winter or summer, I WILL HAVE THIS ON MY NAILS~

Hello ladies! I've put together a few products from Too Faced that I've been meaning to try. If you don't know what Too Faced is... "Putting the glam back in glamour, Too Faced combines the beauty of Hollywood past with the modernism of what women want today." It's a really luxurious brand that offers a variety of makeup to cater your needs. The products come in the best conditions. The colors of eye shadows and blush seem unique~ Another thing I love is the packaging! Everything seems so girly and pink! I love this because other brands of makeup usually come in standard colors like: a black compact powder, black mascara tube. Plus they're cruelty free!! If you haven't check out Too Faced already, check them out
Natural Neutral Eye Shadow
*In no way is this a sponsored post. I just love Too Faced so much that I've decided to write about it. Look forward to more in the future! :)
